Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort boasts over 2,000 acres of skiing and riding for all ability levels. We have breathtaking views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and Lake Tahoe, which is only 12 miles away. We have over 2,200 feet of vertical drop with a 360-degree view of the Sierra Nevada Mountains at the Grandview Lodge. We are the closest major ski resort to Sacramento and the Bay Area, right off of Hwy 50. Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort receives an average of 450” of snow every year. We are home to the longest beginner run in Lake Tahoe. Sugar n’ Spice is a 2.5 mile beginner meander that extends from the summit to the base of the mountain, so even beginners can ski the mountain top-to-bottom. Our guests tell us that we offer some of Tahoe’s best fall-line skiing perfect for beginners, legendary tree skiing, wind protection on stormy days, nationally rated Parks and Pipes, and backcountry access that leads to endless bowls and untracked powder.
